Trick - Tip n’ Turn

Ever feel like the floor is moving from under you? Yes, it might be the booze wearing off, or, it might be our latest creative shot! Tip n’ Turn! We used a ONE X for this shoot, but you can try it with any ONE series Insta360 camera.

Gear used： Insta 360 ONEX/ONE + All-purpose Tripod

Steps:

Step 1: The Setup

Method 1: Shoot standalone

Long press the large button to turn on your ONE X. Press the small button to switch to settings, then press the large button to choose video settings. We recommend shooting at 5.7K@30FPS for this shot.

Method 2: Shoot via mobile.

Connect your ONE X to your phone（How do I connect?）and select video mode. Tap settings and set your parameters. We recommend shooting at 5.7K@30FPS for this shot.

Step 2: The Prep

Mount your ONE X onto the All-purpose Tripod. Place it on the floor.

Step 3: The Shot

Press the large button to start shooting. Stand at a distance of about 20 cm from your ONE X. Roll around on the ground. Oh, and don’t get too filthy.

Step 4: The Edit

(1) Download your video. Select the length and Adjust the size/aspect ratio to what you’d like.

(2) Press the screen and tap ViewFinder. Lift the phone and tilt it at a 45-degree angle.

(3) Adjust the field of view (FOV) with the slider by moving the record button.

(4) Using your mobile phone as the center axis, turn the phone slightly left and right to roll the perspective. Rotate the screen in reverse according to the direction of the scroll. Click the confirmation button on the upper right.

(5) Add hashtag #TipnTurn and share to the community.

Tips:

1. When shooting, make sure you roll close to the camera, otherwise, the effect won’t work well.

2. When using ViewFinder, you can try rotating your phone in different ways to get different effects.
