Using Insta360 Studio to stitch a DNG 360 photo that has been shot as a panorama

We made a mistake while taking 360 degree photos for a VR tour: instead of taking full VR photos, the camera has taken panorama photos. Luckily we had DNG mode enabled, and when I open the DNG file in Photoshop, I can see that both lenses have been fully recorded. Hence the file should be useable to create an actual VR photo. However, when I open the same DNG file in Insta360 Studio 2021 3.6.7, it only shows the photo as a panorama.

Is there a way to disable the panorama mode, which is apparently saved in the metadata of the photo, so it is treated as an actual VR photo? I could not find an option to show the photo as a full VR photo.
