Insta360 One X2 - Advertised as waterproof - it’s not!

I was so excited by this camera and looking forward to creating footage. Took the camera in to the sea - it’s waterproof up to 10m so all good right? Nope, camera stopped working and battery compartment flooded with salt water. Replaced the camera, after doubting myself and wondering if maybe I hadn’t shut the USB port properly after charging - maybe it was my own stupid fault. The camera had so much potential, I saved up and sucked up the the cost of a replacement. I wasn’t going to make the same mistake twice. Checked all the usb and battery were shut properly, checked again - not about to risk damaging a second camera, checked once more just for peace of mind, hopped into the water. Camera stopped working, battery compartment flooded - AGAIN - do I laugh or do I cry? What I don’t and won’t do is buy a third. This product is advertised as waterproof to 10m, I was snorkelling, never more than a meter, two at the most. This camera is not fit for the purpose it is advertised. Beyond dissatisfied and disappointed! Have emailed the support - let’s see what they say but not holding out much hope. Money (a fair chunk given the cost of each unit) wasted.
