One X2 with Ambisonic mic

I was thinking of getting the Zoom H3-VR (ambisonic mic) and I was wondering if anyone has tried it with the One X2.

If so, I have a number of questions.

How is it with voices at a distance?

Can I use it as my only mic, or would I still need separate lavalier mics to capture voices and if so, how do you even mix those?

Can I use the line out to record right into the camera? I’d rather avoid having to synch up a separate audio tracks in post.

How hard is it to hide?

Will the One X2 pass the ambisonic effect all the way through to the mp4 file, or does it get stripped down to stereo on export from Studio?

If so, how do you add it back in?

Is it worth it? How much of a pain in the neck is it to use?

Are there any cheaper knock offs out there I should consider?

I’m not sold on it, so I’m open to other suggestions.

What do you use? What would you recommend?

I reckon 360 video should have 360 audio, but voices are more important.
