My Dng Dng Dong - Issues with PureShot in Studio
Heya Insta support team!
Wassup!
Happy year birthday and 1 Billion cameras sold
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
(This post was written in the future 😁)
Anyways... My One X2 dng files ( with PureShot mode enabled) are showing up in Studio like this
If I toggle PureShot off the picture shows like this:
When it's toggled off and I export the generated dng file with around 100mb that can be opened through Light room.
Nevertheless if I export with PureShot On
It creates a JPG with only 3.5Mb that has the same colours as picture number one.
If I export the native insp file (it creates 2 files with PureShot: dng of 36Mb +[Jpg/insv of 6Mb])
Then the new jpg has 9Mb
Just to be sure this is the correct procedure:
(I don't recall seeing any tutorial on exporting PureShot Dng files)
Even with PureShot is it supposed for us to ALWAYS toggle that off to export the dng?
If i delete all dng "parented" files and keep only the insp files the App or studio do not synthesize the files correctly, not loading the insp files without the AEB processed / stored through the dng.
I hope you're following my reasoning here 😁
So... Is this a flaw that this chromatic aberration is showing the dng with PureShot on in Studio, is this normal or... Something else?
Should we always toggle it off?
Does this happen to someone else?
Would love to get some feedback
