Insta360 One X Not collecting GPS for GSV

This is a well known issue on Google maps forum, but I see no discussion of it on the Insta360 forums (link to forum here).

I attempted to capture a decent area in 1 min videos, and enables GSV mode and it does not seem to be collecting "enough" data:

- My Google street view knows exactly where I am, so it is not an issue with my GPS.

- I use a Samsing S8 and a Insta360 One X.

- I tried giving it time to find the data (5 min before capture of the phone and camera just chillin), and I also tried turning Stats on to see what data it compiles. No stats on any of the videos.

- Note that the first 2 seconds of the video does not have GPS data, but the rest of the video does. However, there is no way to trim AND upload the video to GSV with the trim applied. It just reverts to the pre-trimmed content.

- I tried exiting every app other than Insta360 app.

- I shot in 5.7K 30fps and 24 fps.

- I tried shooting longer videos up to 5 mins. Nothing.

I see no effort online from the Insta360 team to resolve this issue. Seeing as I purchased this camera to do this, it's very frustrating. Can someone point me in the right direction!? Thanks :).
