Photos with gps data on insta360 R (Android App and GPS remote)

So here is my question:

If you make photos with the insta 360 R either with the android app (with gps toggled on in setting) or with the GPS remote do you get actual GPS data in your photos?

So far here it just doens't. Factory reset on oneplus 6t, clean install of the app. Newly paired GPS remote with full gps bar.... anything I try, no GPS data whatsoever. Really dissapointed.

Insta 360 focusses heavy on video, and thats great. But very little mention about photos and the way to add them to maps or any mention about GPS data in photos. So any of you able to upload images from the inst360 R to streetview?

• Oneplus 6T (oxygen 10.3.3, android 10)
• App version 1.1.5
• Firmware version 1.1.20
• All software & app up to date
• Tried with only phone as remote and also with the GPS remote, both ways no luck
