Insta 360 one r app Crashing constantly

Hi not sure this is the correct place but thought Id give it a go.

Just got new Insta 360 one r twin edition. Been doing a few practise shots with it and all was going well. Liked the app interaction and was impressed with its interactivity however its now got in to a cycle of crashing constantly...

Using the google pixel 3 phone was great but now if I open the app it crashes within first 3 seconds

Ive uninstalled deleted cache and storage, reinstalled, restarted phone, connected camera wifi disconnected camera wifi, tried installing from website tried installing from play store. If i uninstall and reinstall now gives me a couple of permission questions then crashes...

tried it a number of times.. any ideas please before I launch the camera and phone out the window.
