Insta360 Studio: new feature request
Hi chaps, I'd like to request two new features for Insta360 Studio which would be invaluable at speeding up my workflow, and I am sure many many others:
1. support Edit/Take Snapshot at higher resolutions.
- Depending on freecapture view, there can be enough data to be creating 4k or higher resolution of a still frame/snapshot. However using this menu item gets you 1080p snapshot only. To actually get a full quality still, I have to select a segment of video, export this at a high resolution (e.g. 5.7k) and then load this into FCPx and scrub to the still I want, and then save it. These can be massively higher quality if the FOV was large (in fact I have had one published in a magazine). It seems it would be a simple update to allow the 'take snapshot' menu item to allow a configurable output size or even just a fixed 5.7k.
2. support the export of several different start/end trim points in a clip.
-This would literally save hours. If I have a long clip and I want to use say, 4 small sections, I need to do either:
A: set one at a time, save, delete all keyframes and set next one, and save, etc, etc - which means I cannot go back to that one again as it's been deleted, and this is a really nastly worksflow.
B: set the keyframe up for the whole clip, and the start/end to encompass all 4 sections I actually want to export, and then export/render the whole thing. This can mean log render times, and massive files when I only acually want 4 sections.
If instead, I could set multiple start/end sections in the clip, I could have an accurate saved project for the clips, and export only the 4 sections I want quickly, and using only the space required for those video sections.
