360 One RS External Mic

Good evening,

I just recieved my insta 360 one rs with the external mic adapter using a boya MM1 and the audio quality is horrible. Its almost the same as the internal mic on the insta 360’s built in mic. I have tried setting the gain lower and higher but nothing really makes it any better. Is this going to be updated in a firmware update?
