Easy(!) removal of camera operator from footage with AI
In video post production we will sometimes need to remove the camera person from the footage. Several video editors offer tools that support this task but this will mostly end up being a quite time consuming job.
Recently I started to work with RunwayML which is an online video editor that has its main strengths in offering very easy to use AI-Interfaces (they are not a small player in the AI artwork market, e.g. they are co-founders of Stability AI)
The following demo was done in 5 minutes - it is only a quick and dirty test run:
It will not work in every environment but it may often render the possibility to use angles / zoom areas that would otherwise not be suitable because the cam guy would disrupt the composition. Or to remove any other interfering objects.
The main point about the RunwayML-solution: it's easyness of use !
