Insta360 Studio Laggy

Hi,

I would like to use insta360 Studio on my windows 11 PC but it is far too laggy to be useful. My computer is a Dell XPS, i7 (9th gen, 6 cores) with 32Gb Ram and 1Tb internal SSD storage (were the 360 files are stored). I use Premier pro as well as After Effects and it runs well with 4k files using “proxies”. As such, I thought it would be able to run the Studio app. I’ve tried opening the “LRV” files, which I understood to be low resolution files (similar to proxy files) but that makes no difference. However, I don’t know if they actually opened since the file name is “.insv”. My files were shot in 5.7k/30 fps. Also tried the Premiere plug in and it is even worse.

Any advice on this topic would be appreciated.

- is my computer spec to low ?

- if so, what is the minimum hardware spec for good performance for the Studio app

- should I be editing the LRV files, if so, how do I open them ?
