X3 Overheating

Scenario: (USA)camera on tripod on rooftop capturing sunrise timelapse. Ambient temp is high 60s F. Camera recorded for about 10 minutes then stopped recording with overheating message on screen.

I see no point in contacting customer service as I see that other users have been having the same issue.

My X3 is overheating just from doing timelapse. Also, just connecting to my phone via X3 wifi is making the X3 very hot. I have the latest firmware update. It was working fine when I first got it. I could record for more than an hour in 360 mode with no noticable temperature increase. Please fix this issue. Don't turn into GoPro.
