insta360 wants to join wi-fi network "ONE R N######.OSC

After numerous hours, i was able to get the insta 360R activated (yesterday) today, i cannot get it to connect. Camera is fully charged and i made no changes to camera or phone. I ger to the point in app where it says "insta360 wants to join wi-fi network "ONE R N######.OSC"

Cancel or join

I choose join and it fails. I have the opportunity to join in settings, but do not see it in wifi, only bluetooth.

im using iphone with ios14

unfortunately i cannot use desktop software either, since i am running windows 7 32 bit.

any help connecting to phone?
