Ace Pro Cold Shoe mount - defective design!!!

I just purchased the Ace Pro Cold Shoe mount and discovered that you cannot attach it to the Quick Release unless you have the fingers extended and use those to attach the camera to you selfie stick or other mounting system.

This is no good for me as I have my Quick Release attached to my bike handle bars via the 1/4" thread. Thgerefore I cannot use the Cold Shoe mount.

This is a flaw in their design.

I've asked for a return and refund.
