Connection issues with both iPhone and ipad

Help, I’ve only had my x4 for 10 days and it just won’t hold a stable connection with the insta360 app on both my iPhone and iPad.

It varies from not finding a device, to connecting and then dropping out within a few minutes.

I’ve contacted Tech support and they asked me to update the app, which I did, and it seemed to make things worse.

My app version is 1.68.2 and my firmware version is v1.2.21.

I’m wondering if I got a faulty device and need it replaced.

I love the camera, but not being able to use the app to view and edit is driving me crazy!!!

Anyone had similar issues and got a solution.
