Disappointed with my new ACE Pro - quality issues and lost memories
I recently purchased the latest ACE Pro model and have had a very frustrating experience so far. From the moment I started using it, I encountered several problems:The memory card was not formatted correctly and the camera sometimes couldn't even detect the card. This happened multiple times.The card was purchased as their product.
- The camera would randomly turn itself on and off at night, which is very concerning.
- The device gets incredibly hot, to the point where I could probably fry an egg on it. This doesn't seem normal.
But the worst part was when I went on a trip to a beautiful location and recorded some important footage, only to find that the memory card was unreadable when I got back. All of that precious footage was lost forever.
I ended up having to send the camera back for repair. The company acknowledged it was a quality issue and replaced the unit for me, which was nice of them. However, I had to pay the shipping costs out of my own pocket. When I asked if they could reimburse the shipping fees, they said they could, but the process was very inconvenient. They required me to provide my full legal name and Alipay account details, which I was uncomfortable doing due to privacy concerns.(i have gave the account no. to them) So in the end, I didn't get the shipping costs back.
Overall, I'm very disappointed with the reliability and quality control of this product. While the customer service was decent, the camera itself seems to have some serious flaws. I would caution any potential buyers, especially those outside the local market, to be very wary. Losing all of that irreplaceable footage was heartbreaking. I hope the company can improve the quality and reliability of this model going forward.
