Insta360 ONE X2 Review #NewCameraReviewer

After my 2 weeks with the Insta360 On X2 I can tell you that this is an awesome package: a good camera and an app with unique features. The combination of both enables everybody to create great content. PureShot takes your photos and edit them in a professional way. Even on your mobile in a few seconds, ready to be posted immediately.

With ShotLabs Insta360 offers you templates for fantastic video effects. No need for expensive programs or to train your video editing skills. Simply select a template, watch the tutorial who to hold your camera and with record mode to use and select the recorded video. Incredibly simple. And if you only want to reframe a video, this is also quite simple with the Insta360 smartphone app. Select the view you want, set a keyframe and go to the next timestamp where you want to change the view and add another keyframe. The app will do everything else, changing the view smoothly between each keyframe in your video. And it runs without issues on my Android phone.

Because I am a photo geek, PureShot has been the biggest impression for me. They use AI to edition the photo, to enhance the dynamic range and reduce the noise. No matter if good light conditions or bad, the result will look much better than what you get directly out of other cameras. All you must do is to capture the photo in PureShot mode, open it and save it as 360° photo or as a reframed view. Not more.

Also, voice control is a big plus. If you want to take a photo or to start / stop a video recording - simply say it. No need for a remote control or to connect your smartphone and control the camera.

And if you want to change settings, this can be done with the touchscreen of the camera.

Because the One X2 is waterproof I do not need to worry that it starts raining, or even I can jump with the camera into water.

Another plus point is the long battery runtime. In cold weather conditions (3°C) it lasts for 3h. I could take a lot photos and videos and had set the camera to standby only, not shutting it down.

The combination of the good hardware and software of Insta360 is awesome!
