Disable Preview In the App??

Is it possible to disable preview in the app?

Main use of my ONE R is to capture photos and video when cycling, I have an iPhone XS on my handle bars and would like to trigger the camera via the app but having the preview open all the time is going to kill the phones battery, can this be disabled?

Camera firmware: v1.2.18

App version: 1.4.11
