Problems connecting ONE X2 to OnePlus 6t

I recently got the X2 and I'm having issues connecting to my OnePlus 6t (T-Mobile version, Android 10, about phone attached). I have the latest firmware for the X2 (1.0.9_build1) and latest app version (1.4.11) . I've contacted Insta360 support and haven't received any response from them, so I'm trying here in the community to see if I can find a solution or if any of you had a similar issue fixed.
