Editing problem with VR 180 degree videos exported from Insta360 Studio

Hello,

I’m having a problem with editing a VR 180 degree video exported from Insta360 Studio.

I contacted your customer support in Japan (which is where I live) on Jan 7. It’s been almost a month since then, but I’m not getting anywhere

near a workaround or a solution. So I thought I’d ask here again.

Here is my situation.

-Took a 180 degree video with EVO.

-Imported the insv file into Insta360 Studio 2020 (also tried 2021) and converted it into an mp4. Bitrate is set to 200Mbps.

-Imported the mp4 file into Premiere Pro.

-Added text and applied the VR Plane to Sphere effect to the text.

(it’s a simple interview footage.)

I exported the video and uploaded it onto Youtube to watch it with VR glasses, but while the interviewee is clear, the text is blurry. You have to cross your eyes to read the text clearly. The text and the interviewee do not seem to be at the same focal distance, which is shown in this photo. I think the text has to be separated into red and cyan, but not.

I also tried importing the insv file directly to Premiere Pro and did the same. And then this problem did not occur. Everything looked clear.

I prefer to first convert insv files into mp4 files with Insta360 Studio because it trims one side of the sphere that I do not use. I only need a 180 degree view.

So the following are my questions;

-why does this happens only with the file processed with Insta360 Studio? Am I missing some steps?

-Is there any fix or workaround?

-Is there any way to trim one side of the sphere without using Insta360 Studio?

I uploaded the video with blurry text onto Youtube

I asked the same question to the team in Japan, but did not get any answer. I hope to get some answers here.

Thanks in advance.
