Hello insta 360 creators!
Here I come again with another simple #DiyGear this time dedicated to the One R and the Telesin Waterproof housing!
(This may work with One X2 but I have not tested yet) 🔥🔥🔥
The previous DIY gear showed you how to create a 180º Swivel for helmets

(Btw insta... Where's my gold? 😘)
But this is dedicated to underwater shots!
In this DIY gear project I will gather 2 simple tools to create a invisible floater where we can attach our 360 camera waterproof housing
All you need is:
- Your One R 360 mod(duh 😁)
- Invisible stick
- Telesin Waterproof Case (360 version)
- Aluminium handlebar mount (or similar)
- A cilindrical floater made out of polypropylene or another floating material
- 1 thumb screw (or a 4mm hex screw)
- One 1/4 mount with spacer
- fog inserts (I didn't use them though)
(Floater mounted with the handlebar mount)
All these accessories will cost less than 5$ if bought in the internet or less if you already have some of them.
The floater is then screwed into the selfie stick that is screwed into de waterproof housing female screw mount
(Full Set-up mounted with the invisible selfie stick with the shortest section)
Here I share one of the pictures taken with it!

I would recommend to use the interval shooting mode with 3 seconds interval this way afterwards you only need to export the pictures that catch you in frame.
Also, I recommend shooting with the screen lens facing you. Don't known if everyone knows but there's actually "2 stitchings" on every shot, just take a sunset picture with each lens and export them and you will have more understanding about this matter 😁
I haven't tested it with 2 or more sections yet because I needed a deeper swimming pool 😁
I believe this is a Very reasonable approach to the underwater stitching issues 360 cameras face.
I'm still testing and experimenting the right approach regarding stitching solutions when we're Holding the stick in our hands
I hope you enjoy assembling this #DiyGear and if you found it valuable, hit that 👍 and favourite 🌟 for future reference
