Shot Lab Tutorial - Time Flip

The Invisible Selfie Stick opens up a world of creative possibilities. With Time Flip, you can put yourself center frame against a host of interesting backgrounds. Use the Time Flip template in the Shot Lab. Read on to learn how!

Gear used： Insta 360 ONE X/R/X2 + Invisible Selfie Stick

Steps：

Step 1: Set shooting parameters

Long press the power button to turn on the camera and tap the lower left corner of the camera screen to select the “Standard” video mode. Tap the lower right corner of the screen to set the shooting parameters to 5.7K 30fps.

Step 2: The Prep

Mount ONE R on the invisible selfie stick Extend the invisible selfie stick to its maximum length.

Step 3：The Shot

（1）Press the shutter button to start shooting.

（2）Back against the wall and swing the selfie stick in a semi-circle across your body while keeping it level.

（3）Switch scenes and repeat, swinging the camera in the same direction each time.

Step 4: Download the video, edit and share the export

（1） In the ONE R app, tap "Stories" – "Shot Lab" – "Time Flip"

（2）Tap “Use this Theme” and select your clips.

（3）The AI will identify key segments. Do not exit during processing. Choose the key segments that you want.

（4）Export and share the video with the tag # Time Flip

Tips:

(1) Walls with distinctive patterns, colors or textures will create the most eye-catching effect.

(2) Try calibrating the gyro if you’re experiencing abnormal rotations or shakes while shooting.

(3) AI pose recognition could take several minutes depending on your phone’s capabilities. Keep the app open while pose recognition is running.
