Best Selfie Stick for MTB

Hi All,

Any tips for the best Selfie Stick that can acutally handle the weight of the camera and bumps? The stock stick snapped on the first ride trying it mounted in a similar setup to the below (It was bike mounted as it pulled on the helmet too much like this) The camera flex's the bar too much when out horizontal and eventually it snapped. Footage has the potential to be great but it seems the weight of the One X2 is a bit too much for the stock bar and bumps. I'm reluntant to spend £100 on the carbon longer bar if it'll suffer the same fate.
