Hello @insta360 creators!
Here I come again with another simple #DiyGear this time dedicated to the Insta360 Go2
This DIY gear will allow you to have a little bit more of flexibility when you are using your pivot mount allowing to flip it almost 360 degrees.
This can be mounted on any universal action camera mount adapter allowing more flexibility than the regular magnetic mount.
So, in this #DIYgear project I will show you how easy it is do create a Pivot Mount+

What you will need:
1 - Extra/ spare pivot mount
1 - Aluminium Universal 1/4 screw mount
1 - 1/4 screw or a Cold shoe screw
A manual drill or electrical drill
Or a soldering iron to melt the hole
(Please use gloves for protection if needed)
Steps:
Find the center from the thumb hold on the pivot mount and drill the hole in the center with the same diameter or a bit smaller than the 1/4 screw mount

Screw it onto the pivot mount and hold the other exit with the 1/4 screw or the cold shoe screw.
After it's done you can secure it with a thumb screw into any universal mount.
(When the screws are placed the Pivot Mount+ is ready for use. If the screws are off it can be used to carry around the Go 2 when turned off.

Here I'm using it with the 360 handlebar mount (comes with the bike bundle) paired with the short unicorn mount.
This way I can tilt the pivot to several angles and that can't be done with the regular magnet Mount

This is a vídeo where im using this DIY gear.
This gives a little bit more of freedom because you can rotate the mount while recording (see part when I roll down the window)
Important notice for SAFETY REASONS:
Every time you Mount any clamp or ANY mount on your vehicles ALWAYS TEST your vehicle moving parts like handlebars or doors.
Always ride and drive safe keeping your eyes on the road at all times (unless you're piloting a plane or flying a balloon 😁😁)

As a suggestion for insta360, please update the current magnetic mount design to include this 4 points rotation like we have on the pivot mount.
This will be even more valuable when used together with the new Monkey Tail Mount because you have more tilting capabilities when the Go2 is placed on irregular places
