Insta360 Shot Lab Tutorial - Street Lapse

Street lapse brings the night to life. Here’s how you can shoot it. 🤩 (Note: Insta360 App version needs to be at least 1.22.0)

Gear Used: Insta360 camera + Invisible Selfie Stick + Tripod

Steps:

Select Video Mode

Supports 360 and wide-angle lens shooting, different modes cannot be mixed in Shot Lab

Mount your camera onto the Invisible Selfie Stick and Tripod
Fully extend it

Shoot 2 clips separately at the same location

Subject：With fewer cars

Place the tripod with the back of the camera facing the person

Stand an arm’s distance away.

Shoot for 20s.

Background：With a lot of cars
Do not move the selfie stick and tripod, shoot the background with the same camera
Shoot for 1-3 minutes

Note:

1. When shooting on the street, be sure to pay attention to personal safety
2. The lens needs to be wiped clean, otherwise, there will be glare in your shot
3. Wear light-colored clothing and light the subject if needed to ensure portrait recognition

Edit

Open the Insta360 app, then tap:-> Stories -> Shot Lab -> Street Lapse

Slide and swipe the video clip to reframe the video
Tap the yellow button. Set the starting point

2. Participate on the Community Forum: Click ‘Create a Post’ — Add tag #StreetLapse to your post title — Select ‘Creator Shots’ board — Upload your shot — Click ‘Post’！
