Upgrade your action cam skills in just 6 minutes

Greetings everyone, Hannah here for this week's episode which is all about going back to basics and polishing our action cam skills. 👏

We are going to take you through a few tips to improve YOUR action cam shots, covering things like: correct selfie stick usage, rules for slow mo, shooting in lowlight, bitrate and more. 🤓

1 Selfie stick usage: 0:32

Remember to keep the invisible selfie stick perpendicular to the lens, otherwise there will be a blind spot.

2 Using slow motion: 1:33

In our 4K mode, slow-motion footage can reach 1080 200fps

3 Settings for low light: 2:14

If you’re shooting in low light just hop over to settings and manually adjust the exposure.

And shutter speed should be around two times your fps in order to achieve a more cinematic look as it were .

4 Lens care + filters: 3:18

Before you shoot check your lens and give it an insurance claim whenever we are shooting anything.

Using nd filters to control the amout of light entering the lens if you’re shooting in super bright conditions.

5 Bitrate settings: 4:07

Remember to set the bit rate in advance. For reference👇
