Insta360 GO 3 — Robotic Arm Transitions

You don't need accessories for these shots — just swing your arms and shoot with your Insta360 GO 3.
Learn how to film these awesome transitions!

1. Horizontal Transition

Flip up the Action Pod's touchscreen.

Select FreeFrame Video.
Hold GO 3 with one hand and keep your arm straight. Try to keep your fingers away from the lens to avoid them showing in the footage.


Start recording.
Move your arm in a circle around your body as you turn.
Keep staring straight at the camera.Switch between different environments.

2. Vertical Transition

You can also straighten your arm and move GO 3 vertically to get a different movement in your shots.
Let the camera bounce slightly at the top and bottom to get a more dynamic feel.

3. Diagonal Transition

You can also shoot diagonally!
Raise your arm high. Bring your camera down diagonally across your body. It creates a unique perspective.

4. Around the World

Add a different movement to your shots.
Position your arm down to one side of your body.Swing back and forth over your head to the other side.
Look straight at the camera.It creates a cool tracking shot.

Editing

Go to the Stories Page and click Create a Video.
Choose your clip and the ratio.


Drag the timeline to just before you start the movement. Click Split to delete the extra frames.
Drag the timeline from where your arm appears to the end of the transition. Click Split.
Repeat these steps. When you're done, click Export and wait for the results!
