Error Code: -14173
So figured I'd post while I'm waiting on a response from support to see if anyone else has had this exact issue. My One R stopped producing a wifi signal to connect to. I use a phone (Pixel 6 Pro) and a tablet (Samsung Tab S5e) to operate my One R and both have up to date software across the board. The problem popped up after a normal restart of the device. I had literally just used it within in the hour earlier. The camera itself is on firmware V1.3.8.1. So I followed all the steps Insta360 has (Airplane mode on/off, restart all devices, etc.), and then I came across a post where someone said installing an older firmware resolved his problem and then he brought it back up to date. So I tried this and it solved one problem while causing another. I now pickup a wifi signal from the camera, but I get an error when trying to connect to it via the app. The exact error reads, "Error Code: -14173 Pleace contact customer support.". I've reached out to them and shared a screengrab of me trying to connect and they escalated it up to engineering and now I'm waiting to hear back. Anyone have any advice?
