Insta 360 One RS - Water Damage - Camera not working

I am a Travel Content Creator on Instagram, and was one of the first few people in India to purchase the Insta360 One RS Twin Edition Camera soon after its launch this April. I made this purchase after extensive research of its features and reviews, and thought it to be the best fit for my 3-month long trip to Southeast Asia.
However, it was a heavy disappointment when this camera, claiming to be waterproof upto 5 meters, gave up under 30 seconds barely a few inches below water in a shallow pool. This incident occurred on April 16th, 2022, less than 2 weeks after the date of purchase.
I reached out to the retailer had purchased this from (FO2.IN - MAONO PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES PVT. LTD.), on the same day and reported the incident and requested for a refund/ replacement as this is a straightforward case of defect and malfunction. After returning to India in July, I sent the camera back to the retailer, and they sent it to the service center (ANYA ENTERPRISES) for further processing. The service center responded saying it could be waterlogged because we did not use the mount.
I have provided media files to the service centre - videos and photos with timestamp from the time of the incident - as proof of the fact that we used the mounting bracket as well as the stick before taking it under water. However, the service center is not being responsive to the case.
This is an expensive camera and I only purchased it because I believed the brand was great. However, I am left with 4 months worth of 360 content opportunities wasted. Request you to look into the matter and ensure that ANYA ENTERPRISES provides me with a full refund or replacement. Happy to share all details and proof with the insta360 team as well.
