Insta360 Studio can't delete files

Just installed Insta360 Studio 2022 4.5.0 and was trying to delete videos off of the camera after I have the clips I wanted. Took me a while to find the little trash can at the bottom of the video list, but I see it now. So the next issue is-- it doesn't actually delete files! It looked like it does. But I closed out so I could get some rest, and when I came back the next evening all the files I deleted are back. Is this really something I can only do from my phone app?
