Sticky lens cover on X3

I just got my X3 and thought the sticky lens covers were a good idea to protect the lenses. I added them upon removing the camera from the box.

I was truly disappointed with these covers. I expected them to be very durable and resistant to scratches. Boy, was I wrong.

I was mounting the camera, it slipped from my hand falling about 18 inches, landed on my foot before coming to rest on the floor of the garage. When I picked it up, there are scratches in the front sticky cover. The scratches are very visible in the video.

I am thankful the camera lens was not damaged but disappointed the covers are so easily damaged.

Relacement is the only fix here...
