[Update Highlights] Yet Another Massive Update for ONE R’s Firmware
Yet another massive update has been released for Insta360 ONE R, firmware version 1.2.16 😎
The update brings a ton of things from better image quality, to an improved editing workflow.

You can now export PureShot photos using the Insta360 app/ Studio.
(4K Wide Angle Mod/ 1-Inch Wide-Angle Mod)
PureShot uses an AI algorithm to enhance your photo's dynamic range and reduces noise automatically,
resulting in a clearer, brighter shot.

You can also turn on the "PureShot" mode when using the Insta360 app to control the ONE R to take photos.

The “Vivid” color profile option is live.

Select the "Vivid" color option to add brighter and richer colors to your video with just one tap.
Try this color profile outdoors on sunny days and evening sunsets, it’ll blow you away!
Here’s how to turn on the Vivid color profile👇 :
1. Press the power button to turn on your ONE R.
2. Tap the lower left corner of the touch screen to select a video mode.
3. Swipe left to turn on the "Vivid" color profile.
* Note: HDR video mode does not support this featrue.
You can also turn on "Vivid" color profile when using the Insta360 app to control the ONE R to shoot videos.

A Faster MP4 Workflow.
(4K Wide Angle Mod/ 1-Inch Wide-Angle Mod)
The .insv format video has been changed to .mp4 format, which can be played and edited directly on computer.
1) “Basic” mode: The recorded .mp4 video has basic in-cam stabilization. In addition, the 1-Inch Wide-Angle Mod now also supports recording .mp4 video with basic in-camera stabilization (Supports: 4K@25/24fps, 2.7K@30fps and 1080P@30fps).
2) “Pro” mode: The file names of these videos are prefixed with "PRO_", and they must be exported with the Insta360 app/Studio to apply FlowState Stabilization. All resolutions/FPS options are supported.

Low-light stabilization has been improved.
(Dual-Lens 360 Mod/ 4K Wide Angle Mod/ 1-Inch Wide-Angle Mod)
The “Indoor Low-light Stability” option has been removed.
Instead, the camera will automatically adjust the image quality and deal with motion blur according to lighting.

The Dual-Lens 360 Mod now supports live streaming.

Use the Insta360 app (Android 1.3.6/ iOS 1.3.9 at least) to live stream with your ONE R.
Supported platforms include: Facebook, YouTube or via an RTMP URL.

Webcam mode is now available in the settings menu.

Yes, the ONE R camera can be now used as a webcam!
As a webcam, ONE R can be adapted to a variety of conference softwares and browsers.
* Note: With the Dual-Lens 360 Mod, you can have a multi-view perspective.
With the 4K Wide Angle Mod, the human face will be automatically tracked and zoomed.
